NEW CLASS - MOM AND BABY YOGA!!!!

All the new moms take note! Starting May 5, Moksha Yoga London will be offering Mom and Baby classes every Wednesday from 11am - 12pm! Yoga with your baby - what could could be more amazing? Learn how to give your tiny tyke a baby massage too! There is no extra fee for this class, simply use your class pass or purchase one at the studio. Please bring a baby blanket and a favourite toy to class.

Led by Jaime VanDenBrock and her beautiful 4-month old son Christian. Jaime is also a Registered Massage Therapist and owner of Priority Massage and Health in Wortley Village.

It is advised you wait at least 6 weeks after the birth of your baby (12 weeks if Caesarean) and we further recommend you check with your health care provider prior to beginning any fitness program.

We've received some feedback that the annual pass was a bit much to pay for all in one shot, so we're now able to offer an annual pass broken into monthly payments on your credit card!

FREE POSTURE CLINICS WITH ANNETTE AND ROB

Do you have questions about your yoga practice?  Looking to deepen your postures or work on proper alignment?  Have limitations or need modifications to certain postures?  No time to ask for clarification or demonstration after class?

We all have questions as we progress through our practice, so please join Moksha Yoga London owners, Annette and Rob, on the following days to get your questions answered.  Simply drop-in during the times and we can work with you one-on-one to answer any questions you have.  It's FREE so take advantage of it!  We created this for you!

Free MEDITATION CLASS COMING SOON!

Regular meditation practice has been linked to increased concentration and well being, as well as the reduction of anxiety and chronic pain. Come calm your body and focus your mind before you get your sweat on!

Starting September 7, join our teacher, Ian, every Tuesday from 5:30pm-6pm in our Shiva studio, as he shares basic meditation techniques and leads the group in a mindfulness meditation practice.  A typical meeting will involve learning a meditation technique and then the chance to work with that technique during seated meditation.

Please bring a meditation cushion, a yoga mat, or folded towels to sit on. There will be a bench provided for those who cannot or do not want to sit on the floor. Experience and registration are not required, this is a free community drop-in meditation group – everyone is welcome.

Donations to our charitable Karma fund are accepted with gratitude.

Posture Tip of the Month Video

Sometimes in class it can be difficult to pick out all the yoga gems that instructors are providing! These posture tip videos, taught by Moksha teachers across Canada, allow for a closer look at how to move deeper in feeling what a postures is all about. This info can then be taken right back into the hot room and infused with breath for a whole new experience.

Green Tip of the Month Video

One of the central ideas in yoga philosophy is ‘ahimsa’ or ‘non-harming’. In the Moksha community we work together to practice ahimsa toward the environment. If you’d like to join us in this collective effort check out the monthly videos for some simple ideas on how to create less of an environmental impact in day to day living.

MOKSHA YOGA LONDON NOW OFFERING PRIVATE CLASSES

We are now renting our hot room for private classes and groups! Imagine a class designed exclusively for your group - from beginner to advanced and everyone in between! For a nominal fee, you get the exclusive use of the hot room, facilities, a customized class, and your own personal instructor. A great idea for team building, corporate functions, sports teams or clubs, or a girls night out. Call Rob or Annette at the studio (519.850.8850) for more information!

ENERGY EXCHANGE

The Energy Exchange Program at Moksha Yoga London is unique and very special both to the studio and to the members of the Energy Exchange itself. It works like this...You volunteer five hours of your time on the same day at the same time once a week helping to clean the studio (collecting mats, washing the floors, cleaning the showers, working reception, helping in the retail store, etc...) and in exchange you can receive unlimited classes - it's also a great way to get to know your teachers and be a part of the Moksha Yoga community.

We do require that any applicants maintain a consistent practice at the studio and have done so for at least 3 months prior to applying for a vacant position.  If you are interested in this program please send an email to the studio with a cover letter, resume, and two references. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call or email the studio.
