Moksha class (90 min) -
40 poses practiced in a heated room designed to promote openess through your hips and strength through the upper body while detoxifying your entire body. Both standing and seated poses are practiced.
Moksha class (75 min) -
The regular Moksha series condensed into 75 minutes.
Moksha class (60 min) -
The regular Moksha series condensed into one hour. The poses flow together with fewer pauses than the 90 minute class creating a vigorous, fun and quick class. Perfect for those on the go! Great for beginners.
Moksha Mix - This class will be different each time. Based on the Moksha sequence, it gives you the opportunity to try new postures and sequences while still maintaining a level of familiarity to encourage focus and concentration. Beginners welcome.
Silent - Regular Moksha class led in silence. Not suitable for your first week.
Karma class - By donation ($5 min). Funds raised go to local charities. (No passes) Suitable for all levels. This class sells out each week, so please arrive 30 minutes before.
Community - $5.00 drop in class and suitable for students of all levels. Free for those holding unlimited passes. This class sells out each week, so please arrive 30 minutes early.
Vinyasa - Slightly reduced heat power yoga, a challenging fast flowing 90 min sequence. Not suitable for first timers
YIN - Reduced heat, fewer postures with longer holds. Restorative, works on deep tissue.
Music Flow - A Moksha Flow class accompanied by music. Not suitable for first timers
Yang/Yin - Moksha & Yin class offering a great Yang (Moksha) invigorating
workout - followed by restorative, relaxing Yin postures.
Drum Class -
Explore your yoga practice through the oldest instrument in our civilization. Come sweat to the "heartbeat" of live drumming and let the pulse of the djembe drum move you along as you find new focus in this Moksha-inspired class. This one-hour class is offered on the last Saturday of every month.
Yogassage-
A little Yang, a little Yin, and a lots of hands-on adjustments! Just as the name suggests this is a combo class of asana, Thai yoga massage, and Reiki healing touch. Please note this class will be limited to 30 people (so come early!!!) and will be facilitated by one instructor and two therapists.
Moksha Muscle - Build strength and enhance your practice your practice with our yoga and bodyweight strengthening routine. The tunes will be pumped, the energy will be high...so be prepared to work hard! Please note this class is offered every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.
Meditation -
30 minutes of guided meditation - a great way to end your yoga practice or simply come sit with us and explore a deeper state of relaxation. Create a more peaceful frame of mind, further reducing stress and anxiety.
Pre-Natal -
A class specifically for moms-to-be! These classes run in 8-week sessions, so call the studio or check on our news page to see when the next session is starting!
Power Vinyasa -
This Baron Baptiste power vinyasa flow is fast paced and a challenging practice. Not suitable for beginners. Please bring blocks and strap to class.
Ying/Yang -
A great Yang (Moksha) invigorating workout, followed by restorative, relaxing Yin postures.
Yin - Restorative, deep tissue class. Postures are more relaxing and held for longer, focusing on the yin energy rather than the more muscular yang energy. Please bring a blanket, extra towel and/or yoga block.
- All classes are 90 minutes long unless otherwise indicated and are open to all levels of experience.
- Simply drop in! Reservations are not necessary.
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to class time (even earlier for Community ande Karma classes...), to honour everyone's schedule and to maintain a consistent class atmosphere latecomers not permitted.
- Bring a bath towel, yoga mat and bottle of water (all available - to rent or to buy). Click here for more info.
